Terms & Conditions
Entries will be valid once the skill-based question has been answered Correctly and payment made. All entries must be submitted in the English language. A free entry route to each competition is also available. (Details of which can be found below.)
To enter the competitions:
- go to the website and select the competition you wish to enter
- answer the competition question correctly
- purchase the required number of entries
- complete and submit the online form along with payment (GBP)
The maximum number of entries per person per competition is limited to 20.
Each competition is only opened to entrants aged 18 and over.
Entrants understand that there is no guarantee that they will win a prize by entering.
One free entry per person to each competition is available by sending an unenclosed postcard to 8 Derramore Crescent, Bessbrook, Newry, Co.Down BT35 7EP 48 hours prior to the closing date of that particular competition. Please state which competition you wish to enter along with the correct answer to the skilled based question, your name, address, date of birth, contact number and an email address. All free entries are treated in the same way as paid entries and have an equal chance of winning a prize. All free entries must have an active account on the website. Details on the free entry postcards must match the information on the account that they are to be added to. All free entries must comply with the requirements or disqualification will occur and no entry to the draw will be submitted.
The promoter will not acknowledge receipt of your entry nor confirm your answer to the competition question is correct. If the number of paid entries reaches any cap or limit before your free entry is received you will not be entered in the random draw.
The closing date for each individual competition can be found on the website or Facebook page.
Each competition will close once the draw date has been reached or the maximum number of entries has been sold. A draw date will be announced within 24 hours.
Prize(s) may still be awarded at the sole discretion of the promoter if the number of paid entries at the time of the closing date does not reach the maximum number of paid entries available, but is still deemed sufficient by the promoter.
When the maximum number of entries/or the closing date has been reached the competition will close. However the promoter reserves the right to extend the closing date by seven days- up to a maximum of four times at the promoters discretion.
The entrants and the promoter recognise the competition, it's administration and all associated activities are governed by English law and the promoter and entrants recognise the County or high courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising out of the competition or it's administration.
Except for free entries, the promoter will send confirmation that your entry has been received and that your answer to the skill-based question was correct or incorrect.
In the event that the Promoter closes a Competition early, the Winner may be selected from all valid and eligible Entries received by the Promoter prior to the date of closure, except that the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to close a Competition early without selecting a Winner. In the event that a Competition is closed without selecting a Winner, the Promoter will give all entrants a full refund for each purchased entry.
Prize(s) may still be awarded at the sole discretion of the promoter if the number of paid entries at the time of the closing date does not reach the maximum number of paid entries available, but is still deemed sufficient by the promoter. If deemed insufficient all entrants will be given a full refund for each entry purchased.
The person who completes the entry correctly to the competition via the website or via the free postal entry route. Only the entrant may claim the prize from the competition.
All prizes are subject to availability. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
The promoter does not guarantee the value of the prize, condition of the prize or gives no warranties at the time of exchange to the winning entrant.
There is no cash alternative for the prize and the prize is non-negotiable.
The decision of the promoter is final.
The promoter does not hold any responsibility for the valuation of the prize. It is the responsibility of the entrant to make any enquiries or take legal advice before entering the competition.
The decision of the promoter is final, and no discussion or correspondence will take place.
All entrants who correctly answered the competition question and whose entry was received prior to the closing date will be eligible. (Free entry route will be the stated deadline). The winning entrant will be selected by LIVE stream on the Facebook page using a random number generator. There will be only one winner per competition unless otherwise stated.
The promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practical after the draw has been done, using the contact details provided with the competition entry. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure their contact details are correct. If the winning entrant cannot be contacted with 14 days of the draw date, the promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant from all correct entries received.
Claiming the prize
Claiming the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner unless otherwise agreed between the winner and the promoter. Prizes must be claimed from the promoters address stated on the website (Newry).
Winners may be asked to provide proof of identification to confirm your eligibility to claim the prize.
Data protection and publicity
Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize. Your statutory rights are not affected.
The terms and conditions can be changed at any time by the promoter, it is the onus of the entrant to check and agree to the terms and conditions for each individual competition.
By entering the competition entrants are deemed to have read and accepted the terms and conditions of the competition.
By entering the competition, the entrant is agreeing to their name, County, photo and winning entrant number being posted on any social media connected to the promoter. If you do not wish to partake in any publicity you must notify the promoter prior to the closing date. This will not impact on your chance of winning a prize.
Employees of the promoter or suppliers who are connected professionally with the competition are not eligible to partake in any of the competitions.
The promoter will not accept incomplete or computer-generated entries.
Each competition will run from the opening date to the closing date specified on the website. If need be the promoter reserves the right to change the opening or closing date. The new dates will then be displayed on the website.
In the event that you participate in a competition online via the website and by accepting these terms and conditions you hereby confirm that you are not breaching any laws in your country of residence regarding the legality of entering our competitions. The promoter will not be held responsible for any entrant entering any of our competitions unlawfully. If in any doubt you should immediately leave the website and check with the relevant authorities in your country.
The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries which they do not receive due to high internet traffic, hardware failure, software failure, server faults, failures in computer systems, or any other reason.
The Promoter will not be liable for any loss suffered by an Entrant as a result of incomplete entries or failed communications with the Promoter. The Promoter will also not be responsible for any loss as a result of use of the Website.
The promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the promoter will send the surname and county of any major prize winners to anyone who writes to the promoters address enclosing a self-addressed envelope.
An entrant that engages in fraudulent activity, hacking of the website or any other behaviour deemed unfit by the promoter shall have their entry void and entry fee will not be refunded.
Entry to the competition is non-refundable once payment has been made unless the competition is cancelled by the promoter. Any entries submitted are non-refundable if you are disqualified from the competition by the promoter, or your eligibility to enter has changed or the criteria to claim the prize has changed.
These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the promoter’s website.
All entries received by the promoter will be bound by these terms and conditions.
